F. Kennedy was generally considered one of Americas greatest presidents. However, if one goes past the appearance, one will find the same combination of good and bad decisions were made,
and in the end, though history has determined that JFK was a monumental leader, history has also managed to show the failures. Part One: JFK..the facts John F. Kennedy was
born in Massachusetts, on May 29, 1917 to a large Irish Roman Catholic family. Later he would enter the Navy and serve with distinction during World War II. Graduating
from Harvard in 1940, he entered the Navy. Later, he would go on to take up politics, distinguishing himself in the Senate. Soon after he would be the front-runner for
the democratic presidential bid. Part Two: The Presidential Debate/Race/Results Kennedy was facing an uphill battle in his first presidential race. His strategy was to wade out into
the masses and speak one on one to the public. It was thought that his age and his religion were a possible deal breaker with some voters and it was
believed that by speaking directly to the voters that another opinion might be formed. Having been involved in several wars, the United States was looking toward a leader
that could keep the country safe, and lead them into battle if necessary. It was thought that Kennedy was too young to be able to lead the country. The fact
that he was Catholic had many disgruntled. What if he forced his Catholic ideas on the rest of the country? The New Frontier was the name of his platform
