Once upon a time, an analysis of an organizations internal trends would be good enough to find the right employee. But in more recent decades, organizations have had to take into account external factors and concerns that might impact finding the right person for the right job. In this paper, well examine some of those factors and discuss how they have ended up creating some problems for organizations anxious to hire new individuals. By understanding the external environment when it comes to recruiting, organizations and their recruitment staff can avoid a lot of problems down the road. What is meant by "Environment" "Environment" carries with it many meanings - to some "environmental concerns" can focus on sustainable and ecological issues. One example of this as it pertains to job recruitment might focus on how far an individual lives from a place of employment, and how much gasoline will be used up in getting that individual to work. If an organization was focused on sustainability, it might be willing to offer a free public transportation pass to that potential employer, should he or she have the necessary skills for the job.
