there is good leadership within a company, as witnessed by the companys success. James Autrys book, Love and Profit, the Art of Caring Leadership states that a good leader is
comprised of several components, arising from personality and education. The components that Autry mentions are: honesty, trust, special treatment, and courage. He states that the leader must deftly weave
the threads of individual concerns into a common garment: In every office you hear the threads of love and joy and guilt, the cries for celebration and reassurance, and somehow
you know that connecting those threads is what you are supposed to do and business takes care of itself(Autry 32). These aspects,
in a company with good leadership, is a common thread throughout the company, from the mail room to the executive boardroom. He states that caring leadership promotes the basic purpose
of a business in the first place by constructing an environment where the people inside that community feel appreciated, integral and supported. The good news that comes from this reading,
is that there will always be a demand for good leaders. One might argue that a good leader is not only good with the inner workings of the product or
the facility, but is also very good with the people he or she manages. Developing great interpersonal skills, one might say, is a necessity, as many managers spend a good
deal of their time putting out fires of the human relations variety. What also speaks volumes to the worker (who it can be argued are the backbone of any
