successful in this endeavor. In the context of this book, there are five distinct parts with the following titles: Does Society Need Pubic Relations, Ethical Implications of Public Relations, Who
Practices Public Relations, Public Relations Influences Society, and Global Effects of Public Relations (Coombs & Holladay, 2006). Each of the chapters provide a fair overview of the designated topic but
the opinions of authors are certainly shared. Coombs & Halladay (2006) examine the issues of public relations and the slant of the book, while obvious, is not overpowering. The authors
do provide a great deal of food for thought but examine each issue carefully, looking at both sides. As they provide evidence through the work in respect to public relations,
it appears that there is much to relay about the field and how it affects society. The authors in some way have a point of view, but the well balanced
work does provide many different perspectives so a reader will be able to choose theirs. The work is well written and organized. Authors in the context of the topics mentioned
do look at the ramifications of public relations and how society deals with it. The book provides information about how PR affects the world, but also in respect to how
the world affects PR. By examining a number of topics, authors are able to cover a great deal of territory as public relations relates to business in general. This is
