difficult to measure its real presence and the value of that ethic. In this paper we will first look at whether there is such a thing as true CSR and
then, if there is, how it may be measures. If we are going to examine this we first need to consider what is meant by corporate social responsibility. There
is not single definition that is widely accepted. One good definition is that of Holme and Watts (2000); "Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically
and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large". Within
