saw where there was a better employee relationship, even where working conditions declined, that productivity would increase (Huczyniski and Buchanan, 2003). There are many ways that the employee relationship may
be developed, the use of tools such as empowerment are effective not only at showing trust, but to increase commitment and loyalty.
The benefits are not only fro the perspective of the employee relationship, there is also a great deal of evidence that were there is productive teams the use of
self management can increase efficiency on a practical level. The use of self managed teams allows the team members to organize themselves
in the manner most efficient to get the job done, they are freed for a degree of bureaucratic procedures and the there is a greater ability to have team members
