Development (GED) Program is specifically designed for the adult who dropped out of public school before receiving a high school diploma (GED Program, 2008). This program allows these adults to
earn the equivalent of a high school diploma within an educational atmosphere geared to their needs. The stakeholders in this process are, of course, the students and the institutions and
teachers involved, but also this program benefits the NC society, as it provides a means for adults to continue their educational development. Accountability: This topic, in terms of student
achievement, relates to the requirements for program completion. In order to pass the GED exam, which demonstrates that the student has mastered all of the high school level skills necessary
to earn the high school equivalency GED diploma, the student must develop competency in the following subjects: "Writing, Literature, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies" (GED Program, 2008). A score of
