1 The international financial markets have become increasingly integrated, as firm spread internationally and the desire as well as facilities to
trade internationally has developed. Thus has allowed investors to take advantage of many additional investment opportunities, but there have also been increased exposures. To look at the way that international
financial markets are interrelated it is possible to look at the different types of tools which are used across international boarders, what they are and how they are used it
is possible to see the complex and highly interdependent nature of the international financial markets. Slide 2 Over the
last few decades, aided by developments in technology, the scope and scale of international financial transactions has increased. International markets are seen as creating a high potential in terms of
investment opportunities, allowing ease of investment across national boarders. The tools that are available may also be seen as creating new markets as well as allowing risk to be transferred,
which itself opens up opportunities for trade and profit. However, due to the way that trading takes place, where there are events in one market, such as political instability, economic
problems, changes in interest rates or concerns regarding inflation as well as positive changes, there will be a knock on effect on other markets as investors move money between markets
and currencies and the different investment vehicles change in terms of the value and the perception of their value and the advantages they may offer investors. The underlying influences such
