Application programs are used for entering data, updating and reporting (PC Magazine, n.d.). * Liveware is a slang term used for the people who are using the system. So, it refers to the people who operate the system. These people operate it, and perform a variety of useful tasks (blurtit.com, n.d.). * The data collected in the system will be turned into useful information. The system collects data, e.g., sales revenues, and software applications are used to use the data to provide users with information with which to make decisions (blurtit.com, n.d.). * The procedures are those policies and rules related to operating the system (blurtit.com, n.d.). Manual procedures reveal how data are obtained, they are about the input and output related to the system. These procedures tell the computer what to do and when; machine procedures tell the computer how to do what they do (PC Magazine, n.d.).
