the case, there are still many companies that require the retention of paper documents. This may be to accompany a computer system, where the documents are scanned into the system
and then archived, it may be where there are legal requirements to keep originals, or some system may not have sufficient need of computerization, or the resources to carry this
out, as seen with many small businesses. Where there is a paper management system there are physical aspects of access and security to consider which include the need to protect
the data. A basic system, will include a filing cabinet with files organized according to a predetermined system, usually alphabetically, another system is the dewy system used in libraries where
the placement of a item is determined by its subject matter and can be referenced according to the subject or according to author with searches un files on a database.
