holds promise for countries that are not quite as developed as they want to be, industrialization holds some key detrimental factors. Certain things may be done to mitigate such variables.
Industrialization has a long history and while there are nations that have already gone through the process, during the early part of the twentieth century, not more than a few
counties have been called industrialized (Roberts, 1993). In small countries, for example, industrialization was both been localized and specialized (1993). People generally have noticed that as industry had arisen, there
would be changes in the whole patterns of peoples lives (1993). This sometimes comes about rather harshly, as people who had been artisans are sometimes driven out of business
(1993). This type of situation occurs today in industrialized countries in a different way. For example, when Wal Mart breaks ground in the U.S., local merchants realize that they will
be going out of business, or at least substantially hurt. The large industrialists will always reap the profits while those who had been in business for ages will lose enough
business to the newer, better facilities. There are many other changes that people in the throes of industry go through and when exploring industrialization today--in third world nations for example--one
can learn a great deal of lessons from the past. The Industrial Revolution impacted the lives of all people in industrialized nations. The image that most people have is that
