social nature and differences in work environments. A good theory is one that is said to have certain characteristics. These include the range of contexts the theory incorporates; the
succinctness of the theory; how well the theory actually explains relationships and how well it maps out observations (iStudy Australia Pty Ltd). The three major theoretical models are unitarism, pluralism,
and radicalism, also referred to as Marxism. (iStudy Australia Pty Ltd). Unitarism is based on the premise that industrial relations is about the relations within a specific workplace or organization;
these are integrated entities that share the same mission and purpose; there are two sources for problems, one has to do with poor communication in the organization and the other
