of education for everyone. It essentially puts children with disabilities, learning or physical, in classrooms along with average children who do not have disabilities. It is seen as good by
some and bad by others. It requires more attention to education for there are many different levels of involvement and many areas that need constant attention and assessment. It requires
the cooperation of teachers, assistants, specialists, and parents. The following paper looks at, and summarizes, four different articles on inclusion. The paper presents a book, a journal article, a newspaper
article, and a web article. Janice Fialkas Special Inclusion in after-school Activities In this article the author speaks about her son, a young man with autism. She
wanted him to become involved in some activity that he could do with other children, some activity that was inclusive. She put him in cross country running and was incredibly
surprised to see that the coach, although apparently not aware of the academics of inclusion, seemed to do all the right things, suggesting he not run alone. He arranged for
the boy to run on a treadmill, and insisted he run for a particular distance every day, despite the fact he was very slow, and often left behind. The story
