heard praises but also criticisms. The primary criticism of the book is that it is not completely accurate and suggests that theories are fact. Of course, as in any discipline,
there is always controversy. There is even discourse in respect to the fact that facts simply do not exist. Much written is conjecture or theoretical material anyway. In one book
review for example it is explained that authors of the book seem to suggest that dinosaurs are warm blooded rather than cold blooded. That is a debate that has been
ongoing. Also, the author is only a science teacher and not a credentialed scientist. It is no wonder that the book comes under criticism. At the same time, it is
a wonderfully illustrated and intriguing work that will draw in even the most jaded student. In terms of structure, this is a picture book as well as a volume conveying
a great deal of specific information. It is also a chapter book consisting of seven materially relevant chapters, but also contains a Foreword, an Introduction, an Afterward, two appendices, a
bibliography and an acknowledgements section. A chapter by chapter summary and review is as follows: Chapter 1 New World Order This chapter begins by delving into the Mesozoic
Era and provides dates that are factually correct. The illustrations in this book are arguably superb, but the one that appears on page 21 is somewhat dark and disturbing as
a dinosaur has a giant bug in its mouth. Yet, the following page features flying dinosaurs which are quite beautiful and they are set against a very pretty sky. Towards
