the enrolment system, if we look at the system assuming the processes all take place in a single building or room, then there will still be the same number of
stages, the only change will be the distance between processes. The student has said that the difficulty they need help with is the clear defining of the problem. The solutions
they have recommended do address the problems that are in existence so we will concentrate n the identification stage to help the student. To do this we need to look
at the situations as a whole and identify the different stages (Thompson, 1998). The use of a flow chart is useful, but
we can also make user of a process flow chart to look at al the activities that are undertaken this will reveal the large level of processes for what should
be a fairy simple procedure. There are several ways this can be activities, here we will use table form but the student can put this into a more detailed flow
chart. We will use the enrolment procedure for the adult outreach courses as an example of the tutors time. In these the circle in the first square is an action
or task, the arrow in the second column is a movement, the D or semi-circle in the third column is a delay, the square is a check and the downward
