more and more people go online to communicate with one another, the chances that someone will "stalk" another person online increases. While there is no universally accepted definition of cyberstalking,
the general definition is one that refers to use of electronic communications to stalk someone else online - involving repeated communications that are intended to cross either physical or emotional
boundaries well after the harasser has been told to stop1. Then there is the legal definition of harassment that is followed, according to Blacks Law Dictionary which is: "A course
of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional distress in such person and serves no legitimate purpose" or "Words, gestures, and actions which tend to annoy, alarm
and abuse (verbally) another person."2. But cyberstalking is not the only Internet crime out there - hacking is also a problematic crime
on the Internet. Hackers can be very dangerous, as they can drain money from bank accounts, steal credit card numbers (and run up amounts on such cards) and generally cause
mayhem with computer systems. Hackers arent your run-of-the-mill criminals, either; theyre basically people who are out to make mischief for mischiefs sake.
Finally, another Internet crimes (which is similar to hacking) is to release a virus on the Internet. Again, viruses can disrupt the working of various computer systems and cause some
real problems for people. And again, those who spread viruses do so out of mischief or a need to feel important. Under
