This is especially prevalent in residential architecture, both interior and exterior in the modern era. What is Experiential Continuity? The experiential situation is one where people become bodily and emotionally attached to their geographical world. In this case; the home. The crux of the experiential continuity is a feel that is consistent throughout the structure. Often this can be accomplished with a simple element, repeated throughout the structure. For example, exposed ceiling beams, or the use of a textured ceiling can be a unifying element.
