supported as he/she becomes involved in the artistic endeavor. This, then, is interior design at its core. Most, when considering the occupation of interior designer, instantly think of various and
colorful swatches, wallpaper samples, and purely physical considerations. However, the true interior designer, designs not just for the external area of the home or working space, but for the internal
satisfaction of the client as well. Most clients will not even be aware that this has occurred, and will only realize that they are satisfied with the results. However,
it has to be said, that like any artist with paintbrush and canvas or chisel and marble, the interior designer sets out with a spiritual idea in mind. For example,
the guest bedroom must have the feel of hospitality, of contentment, even a bit of indulgence. These are not external concepts, but internal. It is this internal landscape that the
interior designer must work with first. Someone who becomes an interior designer does so, not because they enjoy the money, and certainly not because they see it as a
fall back job in case something else doesnt come along. The truly gifted interior designer is someone who seeks to bring harmony and balance, not only into a room, but
into a persons life. The interior designer becomes very much aware of the impact that a perfectly done room can have on the attitude, lifestyle, and use of a room
