that allowing, legalizing, or sanctioning these marriages furthers any positive endeavor for the human race and the practice of gay marriage should be banned. The state of the modern
family has been called into question over the last quarter of a century and especially over the last couple of decades experts have warned that the projected trends would lead
to a total collapse of societal structures. The fact that minorities, women, homosexuals, and immigrants are starting to exert their own rights and freedoms in regard to the family structure
have left the government searching desperately for a way to define such diversity and to determine if children are being harmed by all the diversity. Donald Symons book, The Evolution
of Human Sexuality, states that: Since men and women pursue different sexual strategies, heterosexual relations are always a matter of compromise. For homosexuals, however, sexual strategies coincide and "the sexual
activities of homosexuals of both sexes appear to be especially intense, varied, and satisfying(Symons, p. 298). According to his findings,
Lesbians have few sexual partners, tend to be faithful, and value affection and intimacy. By contrast, homosexual males are highly promiscuous. Among North Americans for example, 75% of homosexual men
have over 75 partners in a lifetime, while 72% of heterosexual men have less than eight partners. (Symons, 1995, p. 299). He states that these differences are not primarily cultural,
but genetic. He also goes out on a limb by stating that men, straight or otherwise, seek many partners and that women dont. If women were as promiscuous as men,
