questionnaire and pother quantitative methods (Curwin and Slater, 2000). The interviews that took place on ICT vary in terms of the questions
that were asked and the amount of data that was gathered. There was a broad framework for the interview, but this also appeared flexible, where a respondent gave more detail
fewer questions needed to be asked, but this also had the impact of reducing the overall level of information that was gained from them. For example, Kelly from England was
giving fuller answers than Ioanna from China, but with the additional questions that were asked by the interviewer to increase the depth of information more data was gained from Ionanna,
such as questions about using commuters for homework and the way ICT was taught. The general framework reveals some basic data in the way that ICT has been used
in past. The data is regarding the situation in the past, as such it would provide little value if assessing the way ICT is used in the classrooms today. There
is a degree of interest from an historical context. However the greatest value may be in assessing national differences of ICT education on the current workforce. There are some difficulties
with this, the sample is not large enough to be deemed as representative, and the questions that are being asked are both personal in nature as well as questioning the
