The Organization has grown quickly since it was initially founded. There are now several centers that provide direct assistance and a number that provide multiple services. These lasts centers also have capital projects in progress. Curriculum has also been developed for education at the centers with an emphasis on business and financial training programs. As the organization grew, it also developed some serious staff problems that as affected their productivity, which will be discussed later. Further, the centers find themselves lacking specific equipment and materials that is also limiting their productivity. These will also be discussed late. This report identifies the problems discovered through research and recommends interventions to increase the productivity at the centers. People First Problems-People Issues A research project of the People First Organization revealed these people problems: 1. Role conflicts within groups. 2. Communication problems among group members. 3. Lack of cohesiveness in groups with diverse members. 4. Excessive intergroup conflict. Considered in another light, the problems are related to communication, conflict management skills, diversity management skills, and team development skills. These skills are essential for any office or business to operate effectively. There are different kinds of role conflicts, such as the conflict between roles for family and roles for work. In groups, role conflicts are often related to the role each person thinks they play or should play in the group. A person might view himself as more knowledgeable about the topic than the other members and thus, thinks he should be the leader of the group. The other group members may not agree.
