or even nations treat individuals. In many cases human rights abuses occur due to differences, these may be motivated by race, often with one minority being blamed for hardship and
the ills of society, or different political opinions. The effect of human rights abuses are designed to constrain or control trouble where there are different political opinions, or even to
commit genocide or ethnical cleansing, making the area difficult to live in. The short term effect may be that which is desired, but often in the long term there will
be some type of backlash, either by those that have been abused or by those who witnessed the abuse. In looking at the human rights abuses in Israel, Turkey and
Kosovo. In each case there has been a backlash felt by those who perpetrate human rights abuses, indicating an overall intolerance of society. Israel was a state that was created
only half a century ago. The formation of the state of Israel was controversial at the time, with objections from the Palestinian whose land was included in the deal and
the nearby Arab states. The situation was one where there were fears ands hostilities with conflict regarding the way that land and power had been granted. This resulted in a
cross cultural conflict. The manifestation may be seen the way that the Palestinians are given a different legal system and often will suffer harsher prison sentences. However, these alone may
be prejudicial but are not necessarily human rights abuses. The problem s is deeper and the way in which life is seen and value with the treatment of the Palestinians.
