equipment, home office equipment, major appliances, and cellular phones" (Future Shop). US-based Best Buy acquired the company in 2001 and since has "maintained the Future Shop brand with great
success" (Future Shop). Currently there are 131 Future Shop stores operating in Canada, ten more than in the previous year. Best Buy also has opened 51 Canada Best
Buy stores during the same period and operates the two brands as separate businesses in the view of the public. The purpose here is to construct a human resources
