Although the good life from a Christian perspective is something that many from various Christian sects would agree upon, its implementation differs for many people. In other words, even if it is agreed as to what the Christian life looks like, going about pursing that life will differ dependent upon circumstances one finds himself in. Although the goal will always be the same, getting from Point A to Point B may prove difficult for some. First, what is the good life? It seems that most would agree on certain things in terms of living a good moral life. Many people would first look at their bad habits such as smoking, drinking and having sex out of wedlock, just to name a few examples. These are things they feel guilty about. Yet, Jesus implored the people only to do two things, which is to love God with all their heart and soul and to love their neighbor as they would themselves. First, loving God is a choice and while it may be difficult to just love God if someone has fallen away from a relationship with Him, cultivating that relationship is possible. Further, the relationship with God is personal. Despite the fact that there are a myriad of variations between sects of Christianity, the first thing one should do is to forge a unique relationship with the Creator. Someone trying to forge this relationship should pray, read the bible, seek answers within religious contexts and so forth.
