There are some easy steps that a student can take to prioritize their exams and put studying into perspective. If a student, for example, has never had any trouble in their math class and find their weekly quizzes easy, they should put this at the end of their studying list, rather than studying for this exam first. If the student runs out of time, this is the exam that will probably suffer least from the lack of study time. The following are some steps that are helpful in the preparation for reviewing for exams in general: 1. Look at the schedule for exams and note which exams come first. Then prioritize the list from most difficult classes to least difficult classes, and determine which exams should be tackled first. 2. Set a schedule for studying and stick to it. The student can benefit most from covering all the materials, but short of this, the students should study enough material so that they can cover each course prior to the start of exams. Cramming just hours before an exam is bound to push the students panic button.
