of the most influential leaders in the history of the world, one can readily begin to perceive that his leadership style and his way of communicating were powerful and influential.
The following paper first examines how Christ communicated with his disciples and then presents an examination of the students textbook in relationship to the view of conflict. The paper then
briefly examines how the view of conflict can be seen in the way Christ communicated with his disciples. How Christ Communicated with His Disciples Christ, as mentioned, had
many different ways he communicated and led his disciples. He was often very encouraging but he was also demanding and sometimes showed little patience with their doubts. He illustrated a
sense of struggle, and thus indicated a sense that conflict was clearly part of the path that lay ahead of his disciples, and himself. For example, in the Sermon on
the Mount he tells his disciples "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you" (Matthew 5: 11-12). In this Christ is
clearly telling his disciples that following him, believing in him, will not always be easy but that the rewards will be great. He also comforts them, while also pointing out
