day society, with our technology and enormous amounts of knowledge in relationship to medical conditions and psychological conditions, homosexuality is still a very confusing and often threatening subject to many.
There are still those, primarily warped religious individuals, who believe AIDS is still the punishment for homosexuality. And, there are those who still go out of their way to actively
attack homosexuals, due to their own problems with homophobia, as we have seen in the news of late. On the other end of the picture, however, we have homosexuals coming
out in television shows, gay couples artificially inseminating the opposite sex in order to have a child, and other modern day approaches to the condition that is homosexuality. Now,
we must understand that homosexuality is not anything new. Every culture, throughout history, has had homosexuals. Some revered them as wise men, being the most obvious homosexuals have always been
men. Others have been ridiculed and harmed in one way or another. And, still yet, many homosexual, primarily males, or bisexuals throughout history have merely been accepted as part of
the norm. Old literature is filled with stories of men who had male lovers while married and apparently heterosexual. These realities do not make it any easier, however, to
