of educational language from Kay Adams, owner of Ks Divine Health in Pasadena, Texas, is saying how she teaches customers "how to be their own doctor" (Rainwater, 2003) rather than
shows them specific products they should use according to her opinion (prescriptive). By providing the pertinent data, customers have the ability to make informed decisions based upon their own
choices. To point toward any one of the natural healing properties of copious plants and herbs based upon commonly cross-referenced symptoms is to delve into the gray waters of
diagnostic language, an area neither retailer wants to enter. While Adams refers to God as the "greatest physician" (Rainwater, 2003), she points to holistic nutrition with a prescriptive connotation
