while at the same time incorporating such modalities as acupuncture and homeopathy to provide a well-rounded appeal. "Although homeopathic practitioners freely admit that some conditions are intractable or require
the services of an allopathic practitioner, a growing number of orthodox clinicians, recognizing the limits of allopathic treatment, are beginning to investigate homeopathy" (Skinner, 1996, p. 53).
In contrast to holistic medicine, allopathic medicine provides a more conventionally prescribed remedy to combat illness and disease, choosing more invasive surgical procedures and pharmaceutical drugs
as its primary treatment options. Recently, however, the two diverse practices have begun to actively join forces, the efforts or which are establishing an even broader base of healthful
