Waitressing, she thought, was a no-brainer job with fairly flexible hours so that she could still make it home in time to tuck the kids into bed and still bring home an additional several hundred dollars each month. The only thing that maintained her motivation was the fact that this was not a permanent job, but rather one where she would be able to make fast money, catch up on the bills and then quit. Who wants a lifetime career as a waitress anyway? Jennifers attitude toward the restaurant industry is anything but unique.
