are best known through the account of their exploits that comes to us via Homers epic poem the Iliad. Achilles and Ajax are Greek heroes from this ancient account of
the Trojan War and Hector and Aeneas fight for Troy in Homers saga. Furthermore, the Roman poet Virgil patterned his epic poem, the Aeneid, on Homers work and cast Aeneas
as his hero. Achilles Achilles is the greatest of the Greek heroes fighting against the Trojans. As the poem begins, the war has been going on for roughly ten
years and Homer focus on an argument between Achilles and Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek army. The substance of this argument says a great deal about Greek values and
