Models The biomedical model illustrates the idea of health with the absence of disease or any disorders, the behavioural model looks at health
within the idea of diseases and disorders in absentia (Labonte and Thompson, 1993). The socio-environmental model view health as a way of making the right lifestyle choices to improve
health of the individual. This socio-economic model discusses the negatives and positives in costs towards providing better health in the community and for individuals (Labonte and Thompson, 1993). Critically Analysing
the Models Looking at the four models it is easy to see the fine division of where health concerns and support lie as
they look to different perspectives and input factors. The World Health Organisation have taken steps to clarify the way we analyse these models and have noted the best way
a community can be served by understanding how each model affects not only individuals but also the community as a whole (Labonte and Thompson, 1993). For example, if we
