taken out of action as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Despite the costs of the hurricane and the difficulties it has caused the company has been successful, turnover increased
from $4,548.3 million in 2004 to $7,111 million in 2005. In addition the company not only reopened two of the Casinos in that area but also followed a growth
strategy looking to expand in the US principally in Las Vegas ands Atlantic City as well as internationally in areas as wide apart as Slovenia and the Bahamas. The result
of these the expansion has seen a large amount of investment in 2005, much of which has not yet created any return, meaning many of the ratios, such as return
on asserts, show a decline. However, when looking at the reasons, despite the falls it does appear that the reasons are those which can be acceptable. The short term health
of the company is good meaning that the company is likely to survive and realise its long term potential. Overall, this looks to be a healthy company that has a
bright future. Table of Contents 1. COMPANY OVERVIEW 3
