The core of any solid relationship between employees and the organization is the concept of communication, which represents one of the most overlooked aspects of a positive working atmosphere in contemporary society. Effective business communication is an essential component in todays commerce; without it, there can be little if any cohesion among employees, management and the companys objective. In order to establish this basis of communication within the workplace, HR managers have to abandon their supervisory egos in exchange for an atmosphere of openness, encouragement and teamwork, inasmuch as the concept of business communication - when implemented correctly - can be the difference between a productive organization and one that cares little about its workforce. When communication is at its full potential, it can make the workplace a model of teamwork; however, if the arrangement is pushed upon people without competent leadership at the helm, the approach can do more harm than good. Generally realized when people are imparted with the ability to openly communicate with one another and the organization is how they are able to form a collective opinion with respect to problem solving, decision-making and innovative ideas.
