is where accounting kicks in). It can be said that finance is the big picture, while accounting is one part of that picture. What is the difference between financial
accounting and managerial accounting? Both deal with numbers, so this is where theyre similar. Where they differ is in what the numbers mean.
Managerial accounting is more the process of "putting together," in other words, gathering the information and then putting them into reports that are then submitted to internal executives. Financial reporting
is similar, but the difference here is that the numbers are more predictive, and theyre submitted to stakeholders (such as investors). Managerial accounting helps organizational leaders make internal decisions, while
financial accounting and reporting helps stakeholders decide if they want to invest in the organization (or not). Explain the relationship between financial risk and financial return.
Financial risk describes the amount that a company is willing to wager (or risk) financially, for the perceived value of return. For example, if
