Constitutional right. As if such simple controversies were not enough, a majority of the states in the nation are working to get laws passed that enable a person to carry
a concealed weapon. The following paper examines this issue in Kansas and argues that carrying a concealed weapon should be legal in Kansas. Gun Control in Kansas As
noted, the controversies concerning gun control are widespread and diverse. While many argue we can only be safe if only the law enforcement agencies and professionals are allowed to carry
weapons, those with more reason clearly realize that legal or not, those who want to get a hold of weapons for criminal intent will access weapons regardless. There is no
way to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals and as such it makes no sense to leave the majority of the American people at the mercy of criminals,
without proper weapons to protect their family. If criminals knew that private individuals were not allowed to own guns they would generally
engage in crime far more often without fearing for their lives from the victims. This is emphasized even more when one understands and accepts that rarely to law enforcement officials
or professionals ever get to a crime scene while a crime is still taking place. The point is that all people, if properly licensed and educated, and being of an
adult age, and perhaps lacking in any criminal record, have the right to bear arms. However, a complex condition arises when states start talking about the legalization of carrying
