separation of the data and the analysis, seen as necessary to be objective. However, in grounded theory we have a different approach. Grounded theory has a different approach, in
this paradigm of data collection and analysis, that is commonly used in social science research, there is an approach that dictates the theory should emerge from the data (Bryman, 2001,
Chamberlain, 1995). His is where the title of the model comes form, with the need for the theory to be grounded in the data (Chamberlain, 1995). In Strauss and Corbin
this is described at (the grounded theory approach is a qualitative research method that uses a systematic set of procedures to develop an inductively derived grounded theory about a phenomenon"
(1998; 24). The idea is to use the data to provide an account of a phenomena that can be used to distinguish different constructs, trends and the contextual relationship
of the various data that is used (Chamberlain, 1995). The idea is that the results of resech undertaken using grounded will be more than a simple description (Chamberlain, 1995). There
are four main criteria that nay grounded theory use should be capable of satisfying (Strauss and Corbin, 1998). The results should be able to fit with the phenomena identified, however,
the data does need to be realistic to the area of research as well as accurate, true and diverse (Strauss and Corbin, 1998).
Secondly, the results should increase and provide understanding that is comprehended both by the subjects themselves as well as other professionals in the same discipline area (Strauss and Corbin,
1998). Thirdly, there should be the provision of generality; if we assume that the data obtained is comprehensive, and that in the
