A 6 page paper discussing some of the subjects that will be of great concern as we move into the 21st century. The three subjects addressed herein are technology, medicine, and international relations. Each of these three areas of concern are of great importance and while there are many other areas that will also change and readjust to a new era, these areas of concern are perhaps the most obvious and most influential to all people concerned. The 21st century is hinting at being a time of great changes and occurrences. Times have changed drastically in only a few decades, and there is little doubt that changes and advancements have been occurring far faster this past century than perhaps, in any other century known to mankind. Technology, medicine, and international relations have always proven to be the most advancing, and the coming of the 21st century will prove this fact even further. Bibliography lists 4 sources.

decades we have seen men on the moon, the birth of the computer, medicine advances that enable people to live much longer, and the fall of the soviet empire. It
seems as though everywhere we look things are changing and advancing at an incredibly rapid pace. This pace can only be expected to speed up in the next few decades
and the birth of the 21st century is only the beginning of this advance. There is no telling where all of this will lead. Perhaps the world will become a
utopia or perhaps the world and the governments as we know it will crumble under the pressure of far too much technology and far too little compassion and human concern.
Whatever the results, we can rest assured that advances will occur and in light of such advances we need to be prepared and aware. Perhaps the most obvious changes
will occur in the fields of medicine, technology, and international relations. It is these subjects that connect most of us to one another in this technological world and as a
result it is these areas of concern that we need to be the most aware of and need to prepare for. Less than a decade ago most people did not
own a computer, and many thought they never would. Today it seems as though more than half the population owns a personal computer, giving great indication that technology can only
become more involved in our daily lives. This technology we have brought into our homes only goes to illustrate the tip of an iceberg that has allowed medicine and international
relations to move forward at an astronomical pace. It is in these regards that all three issues are very connected. And it is also in these regards that these issues
