the countries and across the seasons. A good example of the move away from localization has been the ability to fly in agricultural product that is out of season in
the host country. In more recent years that has been a move towards localization within the way globalization is taking place despite the perceived contradiction in the terms. A
country where both of these aspects can be seen is India. India is benefiting from globalization; globalization has increased the ability of India to provide services to companies other countries,
by providing a range of outsourcing services, including call centers for companies such as Dell (Dossani and Kenney, 2007) as well as information technology (Grote and Taube, 2007) and
even legal work outsourced (Greenwood, 2007). India is providing services and goods to countries globally and there are also increasing signs of globalizations within the market in India, for
example, fast food chains such as McDonalds and KFC are now common sights in the country competing with the smaller local traders that sell goods on the road side as
well as the local restaurant. However, by looking at the way McDonalds has entering into India and is now competing it is possible to see that there are aspects of
localization as well as globalization. When McDonalds first entered the Indian market it was not very successful (Saran et al, 2007) To compete
