corporations and regional trading blocs have also contributed to globalization in that they bring with them the need for laws and regulations at local and national levels that are enforced
(Yusuf, 2000). Globalization also brings supranational policies and governmental agencies. For example, the European Union, the World Trade Bank, the United Nations committees all have governing power over those nations
participating in trade (Yusuf, 2000). These and other organizations help in many ways, such as assuring environmental sustainability and that the costs for that be shared among the players (Yusuf,
2000). Yusuf comments that globalization has improved living conditions for many but at the same time, it is using up non-renewable resources (Yusuf, 2000). A good example of are the
