Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 10 page discussion of global warming as it is influenced by natural processes determined by the earth's rotation around the sun, natural processes encapsulated by the theories of Serbian astrophysicist Milutin Milankovitch. The author of this paper asserts that the actions of those natural processes have been added to by pollution and activities such as deforestation. The result is an escalated scenario of global warming, a scenario with potentially disastrous results. Bibliography lists 9 sources.

Even before life on earth, even before the earth, even before the universe, there was dust, gas and the vast reaches of space. This
mass of dust and gas which was floating around space was slowly pulsating, in rhythm perhaps to the forces of a supernova or some other space phenomena. According to
one current scientific explanation, the universe and its components were formed in a single cataclysmic explosion between ten and twenty million years ago. This explanation is commonly referred to as
the "Big Bang". This theory has become the central point of not only cosmogony, but also of astronomy and the current theories of the basic structure of matter and
energy as well. The so-called Big Bang set in motion a whole series of events which determine the nature of the world and the universe as we know it
today. Concurrent to that theory there are many more theories as to how life and the physical phenomena of our universe relate. We know that both life
and the environmental circumstances which encompass it has changed over time. One such change can be witnessed in the phenomena of global warming. The phenomena of global warming
is one of the most misunderstood of natural phenomena yet it is related to the first moment of the creation of our earth and, indeed, to the Big Bang.
It is also one which has been widely studied by a diversity of individuals. Milutin Milankovitch is one of these individuals. A Serbian astrophysicist, Milankovitch developed a
mathematical theory regarding the motion of the earth and how it related to long-term changes in our climate. The specifics of this motion were set in place during that
