answers several questions about the organization, its funding and the issues that concern it. What is Global Trade Watch? According to their web site, "Global Trade Watch (GTW)
is a division of Public Citizen, the national consumer and environmental group founded in 1971" (Global Trade Watch). Ralph Nader is the founder of Public Citizen itself, which has
"about 160,000 dues-paying members, most of them in the United States (Global Trade Watch). Global Trade Watch was "created in 1995 to promote government and corporate accountability in the
globalization and trade arena" (Global Trade Watch). The organization has built a network of contacts with other public interest organizations, and is a progressive group that is focused "full-time on
globalization issues" (Global Trade Watch). Globalization issues include such things as food, health and safety and environmental protection, and GTW takes a public interest perspective on them (Global Trade
