Coast. The acquisition is a specialty coffee house in Germany, a company owned by one entrepreneur. This is Coffee Delights first expansion into the global market. This company falls under
the umbrella of two industries, the primary one is Specialty Eatery and the second is Restaurants and Cafes. The acquisition makes good business sense because of the number of German
coffee drinkers, including those who stop at specialty coffee houses. In 2007, Germans consumed more than 512,020 tons of coffee (Reuters, 2008). There was a 20 percent increase in the
sales of specialty coffee drinks, such as espresso in Germany in that same year (Reuters, 2008). Coffee Delights intention is first to increase the growth of this one acquisition and
then, to gradually expand throughout Germany. They will do so with acquisitions, when possible and feasible but they will also construct new coffee houses. In this way, the company will
enhance the economic outlook in the cities where they are located. Human Resource Challenges When operating in any other country, a corporation must adhere to the laws regarding
