The following paper offers a profile, a tutorial profile, of General Thomas Gage. General Thomas Gage: Profile Appearance : General Thomas Gages appearance was clearly something that changed over the years. At the time of his serious involvement in America he was a middle aged man. The student could state that he was a man in his 40s, of a strong build, beginning to bald perhaps, and of a normal height. In portraits of his later life he is shown to have grey hair. He was not fat and he was not skinny, but appeared to be strong and of a healthy build. Actions : Gage was a British soldier and fought in many different battles in America, primarily engaging in the French and Indian Wars (The American Revolution, 2007). The student could state he was sent to America in 1754 and actually was part of the same "expedition" as George Washington (The American Revolution, 2007). He would later become enemies with George Washington because Washington was on the side of America while Gage was always on the side of England (The American Revolution, 2007). Before the American Revolution he lived in America and was there when legal acts were passed that made Americans angry. There was something called "acts" that made the Americans angry. These acts were laws that England made so that America would pay more and more taxes.
