some find role models whom they admire. For women, one of the better role models to study would be Golda Meir. The student could state that it can be argued
that there are certain criteria that a role model must meet, some set of character traits that a good role model exhibits. Firstly, they should honestly care about the people
within the circle of their influence. Secondly, they should serve some greater good than just themselves. They will have made a difference somewhere and at sometime. Lastly, the student
could write, the role model, or the person being admired, must have achieved something that the seeker deems to be of worth or of a certain high level of quality.
Golda Meir has met all of these criteria, and is, perhaps in the students case, a stellar example of perseverance. Her commitment to Israel and the people in the country
captured the heart and imagination of those who lived far beyond the boundaries of her country. Her work toward human rights during the time she was the Foreign Minister for
