in the 2004 movie release "The Day after Tomorrow." The study then points out that the movie earned more during its first week of release then Shrek 2, a movie
about "an endearing green monster that lives in fairlyland." The third point of the study is that "fairyland" has been a more preferable state for our world, especially when it
comes to global warming. And finally, the case study points out that global warming, climate change and its consequences are real - but no one is for-sure certain exactly how
it will manifest itself. There are the doomsday sayers, a-la "Day After Tomorrow" who foresee shrinking ice caps, coastal flooding and the end of the world as we now know
it. And there are those on the other end of the extreme, who live in "fairyland," who believe global warming is a myth drummed up by liberal environmentalists to put
a damper on business. The case study points out that the likelihood of either end of the spectrum is rare, with the actuality being somewhere more in the middle. However,
the case study is fairly emphatic in two things: First, global warming is an issue that needs to be addressed and second,
addressing it in a knee-jerk reaction wont be of benefit to anyone. Trying to make a decision in this scenario without considering the consequences would be a huge, possibly catastrophic,
