all, it can be said that the face of the entertainment industry is already going through a transformation, a transformation which may very well result in a complete revamping of
all industries in the way of regulations, delivery systems, and financial structures. This would include the lottery, and gambling (either online or in person). The
actual chances of winning in any sort of gambling endeavor are slim. This is why it is called a gamble. The actual word derives its meaning from the term chance.
There is a chance that you will win, but an even greater chance that you will not. Given this, then, one would think that gambling would be avoided. However, it
is that chance with the perceived risk that drives some people to pursue gambling with almost obsessive diligence. A case in point is that
of online Gambling. If any technological advance can serve as a warning, this industry can. Now readily available, one can lose vast amounts of money at the click of a
mouse. Heather Green of Businessweek states "We dont know what limits to put on these technologies. We havent begun to grasp how much technological developments over the past ten years
have subtly changed what we consider an acceptable trade-off between safety and privacy," mirroring what many skeptics are stating about the changing face of the gambling industry. Virtual gaming is
now believed to be an estimated $10 billion industry--and growing every day(Goldstein, 2002). In fact, with numbers like that, it is virtually a safe bet that the traditional gaming houses,
