FreshStart for Women is a new 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing "education, counseling, mentoring, temporary shelter, interviewing skills and techniques, career training" for women who have
been victims of domestic abuse or violence. The purpose here is to inform potential investors and benefactors of the organizations purposes, goals and tax-exempt status. Mission and Vision
It is the mission of FreshStart for Women to provide a safe haven for women victims of domestic abuse, empowering them to regain control
of their lives and to provide them with the tools that will provide ongoing support for their new lives. The mission of FreshStart for Women is to provide immediate
relief, but its long term goal is to reduce domestic violence on a permanent basis. "Support" takes various forms, ranging from temporary shelter
and a safe haven in the early days, extending to references for psychological support and practical tools such as job training and coaching in interviewing techniques. The goal of
FreshStart for Women is to provide a destination for women escaping from abusive domestic situations and then assist them in gaining employment sufficient for them to support themselves and their
