care. This is an issue many people can identify with. They see families falling apart when one of the members goes off to war. Yet, many people simply hold
onto hope and do not seek professional help for their dilemma. When the veterans return home, it is a happy time, but can be fraught with psychological trauma from the
stint done during war time. Many veterans report problems with insomnia and unimaginable grief and sorrow. In this article, it is explained that the Mental Health Association in Greensboro will
provide free services to families of veterans returning from Afghanistan and Iraq (Townsend, 2005). The program entails ten family sessions for people who qualify (Townsend, 2005). One reason
why the need presented itself is that those in the National Guard or Reserves who live in Greensboro do not have access to mental health services that those in the
trenches do (Townsend, 2005). When they return home, they do not have the same support they did overseas. The program might be controversial. After all, some people do not take
mental health seriously. Also, some would say it is a waste of money. Of course, this particular program is paid for by a grant from the Community Health Improvement Fund
of the Moses Cone-Wesley Long Community Health Foundation (Townsend, 2005). Hence, it does not cost the taxpayer any money nor will it create more expense for these needy families. It
is therefore a good program simply due to the price tag. Many people are strapped and do not have the extra cash to pay for psychological services, even if it
