the criminal justice field. Discussion Forensic scientists have the responsibility to discover who is likely to have committed a crime, when, how, and what evidence points to them ("Forensic Scientists").
They also need to determine who didnt do it, and what the evidence is on either side of the question, as well as what the probabilities are ("Forensic Scientists"). They
also have to make sure that the evidence they present is clear enough to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt; and that other experts will interpret their data in the
same way they did ("Forensic Scientists"). In fact, one of the keys to the scientific method is verifiability-other people have to be able to repeat the first experiment and get
the same result, over and over again. Because their evidence and testimony can determine the course of a persons life, they have to work accurately. Forensic science "draws on
